yeah, but if you don't have the ball when the other foot comes down it's not a travel.

    jesus christ.

If the UNC player actually tripped the Nova player, then yes, I would admit it.

Too bad it didn't happen, nice try troll.

You really need to get some new material to troll with.:xyxthumbs:

player dribbles, plants both feet, takes two steps into lane before releasing ball -errr that would be a travel

Unbelievable shit like this pisses me off. Maybe UNC players do this and I haven't paid any attention but it's one thing to get in position it's another to put a forearm shiver into someone

    sigh...

Only for you – wydd – my favorite dookie – the one that got me posting on Charlotte.com when I saw you (whosyerdaddybattier and SilverSurfer) raking UNC over the coals – and decided the Heels needed another poster to keep your boys in line would I do this

    Play your clip

Stop it at 1:09. At that point nova player has dribbled his last dribble – ball in his hand, left foot (his now established pivot foot) is on the floor (almost on the three point line.

Play and stop at 1:10. His one step he gets – with his right foot is now on the floor – just outside the lane. Now at this point if he jumps off that right foot and shoots he’s golden – but what does he do? Play the clip

Stop it at 1:11. Too bad – he took a second step. The left foot that was his pivot foot at the three point line hits the floor inside the paint BEFORE the ball left his hand – thus traveling is the correct call.

You (and grid the Hank’s Hardware bandwagon BFE fan) look like fools for posting this clip as an example of a bad call. You can post all the Hansbrough travel calls (maybe I should go dig up the uncalled Webber travel from 1993 ) you want. Sure those Hansbrough travels are examples of plays where the refs swallowed their whistles – but come on dude – if you are going to hang your hat on a bad call at least make sure it was one.

and by the way - just so you know this isn't just a UNC fan rant - I got this picture off a dook board - in the middle of a thread where dook fans were complaining about the ridiculous UCLA refs. I've heard Bilas, Wibon, Kornheiser, two different people on Rome and read several articles by several different journalists all with the same stance - it was a ridiculously bad no call and it was the third time this year where UCLA benefited from crap officiating at the end of the game.

at game speed there is no way that looked even remotely like a travel.....slow-mo maybe though i still didnt see it.....but the Hans dunk on the big guy you dont see 3 steps unless you watch in slow motion....though you clearly see him lift his pivot foot before he starts the drive.

Agreed, watching it on a small screen windon on your PC at normal speed, I didn't see the travel like stated earlier, but in slow motion its obvious, which I am certain it would be on a larger TV, or if you are the ref in actual life like size.

at real speed from ten feet away the ref saw a travel and called it. The replay backs up his call.

Well after watching it again, i see a third step....though the official that called would not have had the best angle to make that call....hell that was 2005 and Doh's players.....who cares now?
