I did skip over Sanders (brain fart) but I was mainly talking about both team's O & D linemen.

Excuse me, but the Colts have just lost 2 games in a row, and everybody is saying that it's because of injuries. Just imagine if Peyton Manning was one of the casualties. How far would they go without him, I wonder?

The Colts seem to be able to pick up the blitz on occation... not sure if that is scheme or personel, but a defender coming un blocked is not the friend of a effective passing attach.

Yeah Sorgi isn't making the playoffs.

Really, the best example is Feeley - and that was for 5 games.

Other than him, you have Bledsoe down enter Brady.

    Warner taking over for Green.

Who else in the last decade?

And in both of those cases, they had experience with the team. Not to mention they were fucking AWESOME, and the teams were unquestionably lucky.

Bline played admirably for Aikman. Great line.

It's not about opening up the offense, it's about not being so stubborn and absolute in his philosophy. It's about having the ability (and willingness) to creatively come up with a plan that would help mask some of the deficiencies and take advantage of the strengths, rather than sticking to what has been proven not to work week after week after week. And that is where Fox has consistently failed since he has been here. When his schemes work, everybody is happy, but as soon as something throws a monkey wrench into the engine, everything stalls.

Any coach can come up with a scheme that will succeed if every part is in working order, but it is the great coaches that can make the adjustments and still win. Unfortunately, Fox has not shown himself to be very good at making adjustments.

People aren't turning on him because of the QB situation, I think most understand that under the circumstances it would be a problem area. What people are turning on him for is not making the necessary adjustments to minimize those problems. Every team has injuries, sometimes to key players, but when that happens quality teams find ways to overcome them...or at least temper them a bit. Sure, losing your starting QB is going to be a problem for any team, but there are ways to minimize that loss, and that's just not happening on this team.

For the record, I am undecided in my opinion of whether or not he should be let go, but I understand why many now want him gone.

While I'm sure everyone wishes the team would still excel despite the loss of Jake, but I don't think anyone actually expects that. I believe most realize that we probably wouldn't be SB bound with either Carr or Vinnie. But the problem, IMO, is that the team isn't even competative. They're not putting up a good fight. Heck, even if it is in a losing cause I think most would be much more forgiving if they just felt like the team put up a good fight.

And now we have two straight years of really not being competative, and that is unacceptable to most...especially with the talent level we have (which is enough to at least be in every game, and win against the dregs of the league). I think the general feeling is that this team is a classic underachiever, one that teases you with hope for a big year, but delivers despair.

I don't disagree that those guys up front haven't gotten the job done, especially regarding handling pressure, but I strongly disagree that the QB position is a secondary problem. Not sure why anyone would say that.

As far as the DL, that's a head scratcher because going into the year Rucker would have been the only real question mark. I do think that these three man rushes are trying to protect our safeties, and that the safeties are a bigger liability than people think. The failure to address that position does fall squarely on the staff. I think they made the mistake of thinking the other nine would be strong enough to allow them to put sub par talent back there and be okay.
