FWIW, dook was WAY... WAY, better than I expected them to be this year. Nothing to be ashamed of for the Devils.

Especially since they don't recruit any athletes anymore.

Wow, how a season can change for a team, hehe. You know the dookie that made that comment, well anyways, sounds like another excuse to me.

Duke has plenty of athletes, what they need are some 6'10 or bigger that can bang

He knows that, just being sarcastic to a dook fan comment or two earlier in the thread.

But yes, very true, they haven't had a good one since the Orangutan left.

well, they've got henderson next year. i can't call the rest of those guys athletic. but yeah, they need good post players.

and hey, i'm not wrong, and coach k is the one who recruits them, so it's not like he's not to blame.

not an excuse, just saying what i think needs to be done.

Duke didn't live by the three when they had Redick. Redick had Shelden Williams in the post all four years and his first two years they had solid point guard play and players like Luol Deng and Dahntay Jones. This year's Duke team literally lived and died by the three. Those Redick teams didn't really have anyone besides Redick and Williams. If one of them was off Duke lost. Paulus' freshman year he couldn't shoot the three that well, and was a turnover machine, McRoberts was good when he wasn't the man Redick senior year. A good roleplayer at least, and Nelson was hurt and never one hundred percent. If Redick wasn't scoring 35 they were in trouble and they didn't have the roleplayers. Now they have a more balanced team but no superstar. I think DeMarcus Nelson was shaving points. Worst 2 games of his career. Couldn't do a thing right.

This wasn't a hard game to predict. ThuggyBear had his guys ready again this year while Dook shot their best load back in January. I just can't figure out those Clemson Tigers. :shout:

    True.

    He just shot a lot.

Whether he was on or not or it was a good look or not.
