I always thought the original Alien was pretty damn scary.

Jeepers Creepers - I thought that cave room was freaky - and if the "monster" hadn't been an overgrown moth - then maybe it would count as a scary movie.

Sometimes the first time you see a movie you think it's good/scary - then watch it again and wonder what the hell were you thinking?

Trying to check out my past rentals to give you suggestions, I like horror. They show Critters as horror - that makes me laugh!

    House of Wax.

The Hills Have Eyes. Don't rent/buy it. It's disgusting.

    LOL uh huh

    So would Mimic scare you?

The Experiment, not sure where it would fit in, it's a foreign film, English subtitles.

I'm looking at my rental history and too bad it's not divided into genres.
I'm scrolling through to see if anything jumps out and most movies I rate 3 (out of 5 stars) because it was ok enough but I wouldn't say it's the best or favorite.

I think horror is tough, maybe be scary once but that's about it.

I liked 13 Ghosts, I think I liked the DVD extra where you got to know more about the ghosts a bit more.

    Good luck on your quest!
