Yeah, and he'll totally say who he's gonna draft.

Plus, he doesn't say he isn't going to draft an RB.

He said they wanted another RB, not that they'd draft a RB.

and, drafting a back ≠ drafting a back top 13.

The idea is simple. People think we need a big back because Stephen Davis was big. That's not what we need, we just need a good inside runner. FWIW, though, Mendenhall isn't a big back. He weighs 4 lbs more than DW did coming out of college.

I have not said one thing about who they are drafting when, whether free agent or trade.

Only that "they" want a big back. This was before the Toefield signing, but it is my SPECULATION that he is not the big back of whom "they" have talked

I don't claim to know more than Fox or to be closer to the situation. I'm just stirring the pot. Forgive me for trying to add to the coversation

stirring the pot isn't a source, though.

Fox's words were clear. They want a back. They don't care if he's big.

he is. Solid RB anyway, but his speed is probably going to get him taken higher than he might need. Which is a shame, not for his wallet but for his career.

Yeah...I'm guessing that 40 time will bump him up to Tier 1 draft position. He's a solid back, but he's not a Tier 1 back. He outran McFadden....but I think McFadden is clearly a better athlete. Just my .02.

    Mags,

I'm not trying to pick a fight or show off. I do have some knowledge of what has been discussed within the organization. I was merely sharing with everyone what I was told, albeit in a little bit of a smart ass way.

If you are not interested I will keep it to myself from now on.
