You know, after last year you'd think they'd learn their lesson. I wonder why we didnt sign a safety. There were a few to be had through FA this year, and none cost a ton. Some were very servicable. Minnesota signed two...

We thought we were going to go young last year, and totally missed the fucking boat. This year, it just seems stupid to me, to risk not bringing in one decent vet. Are we content with Cooper as a fall back? I mean....it seems risky to me, and Im disappointed that were that fucking stupid again. And the draft? Christ, its not a good year for safeties, and in the early rounds we have to address our lines, because were so thin there all of a sudden. I dunno...just thinking about it, and very disappointed on how every year we fail to address certain needs like safety and TE and so forth....

Safety play wasn't as big of a problem as no pass rush.

you know, i was a little frustrated about this too. but it wasn't like our safeties were horrible last year. they weren't outstanding either. harris played well. cooper wasn't awful. throw salley into the mix, maybe a 4th rounder and i'll be ok with it.
just please spend the draft picks on ol and dl. a better pass rush means we have to worry less about who we have back there at safety.

Youre right, since one problem isnt as bad as the other, we should wholesale ignore that other problem.

Silly me. Really, we shouldnt concentrate on DL at all then either, since OL is the bigger need...

Its an issue well enough to where our stop gap wasnt re-signed. We have a gaping hole at FS right now, and its unsettling. The draft isnt strong at all there.

REally, I guess its no big deal. Its only the secondary, afterall. By week 8, we'll have our shit together anyhow....we always do.

There's one about 2nd day guys below. This is more general.

Regardless, you seem to get annoyed every time safety gets pulled up. Just let the discussion happen. Add to it, even.
