    That's kinda of the point. Do I wish Charlotte was as successful as Chapel Hill, of course, but I wouldn't call it jealousy. I went to Charlotte and will pull for them through thick and thin, no matter if another school has greater history and tradition. There's something about a tangible connection to the team I pull for, even if they drive me up the freaking wall most of the time. :rolleyes5:

    BTW I am not referring to you. I have a lot of connections to UNC although I didn't go there for my degree. I have posted about some of them in the past on this board.

    I am far from a bandwagon fan, I was here when UNC was 8-20, and have been posting about UNC since the Charlotte.com days. I have been a fan since 1978 when I lived and went to school in Chapel Hill. I am sure I have been to more activities, programs and sporting clinics at UNC than anybody on this board. I have probably been in the Duke libraries more than even Sly, but certainly more than anybody else here. Duke has one of the best library systems in the country.

    not ashamed. they just suck so there's really nothing to post about. I'd hoped they could beat UNC-ChapelHill at Charlotte so I could talk shit to the niners, but they couldn't even beat that shitty team.
