    It is OK as long as you do not think about it very much. The CGI effects are pretty good.

    If you assume the movie takes place in a fantasy world then you are better off. If you try to think about whether it is plausible that it might have happened on earth 12,000 years ago then you are not going to be happy.

    If you like seeing guys almost get squished by wooly mamoths and lots of guys fighting with spears then you will enjoy it. If you think it makes sense for cavemen type guys who live in the snowy mountains to have dreadlocks and wear loin cloths then you will really like it.
