Funny how dookies keep mentioning the game in Chapel Hill...

    LOL!!

    We won the last one.

    ACC Title.
    It feels pretty good, actually.

wow, you're delusional. the game in chapel hill wasn't close, duke never gave up the lead after the first half.

oh well, you can't argue with stupid. and if anybody has a problem with name's being called, well, they just need to read your dumbass statement.

    Winning feels so good.

Dook - 13 of 29 from 3 point land in the first game.
Only 10 of 29 from the 3 point line this game.
Better defense. Ty did make a difference - QT didn't do much well tonight.

Dook hasn't been a good team all season. They've been lucky. UNC proved that tonight. I hope they do get to meet again. It'll be great to say once and for all that UNC is better this year. Period.

(Not that it's in question, of course...)

hey the season series is tied 1-1. but i'm not above admitting that carowhina won the bigger game.

bringing up a game in the same season isn't off limits.

    First game at Chapel Hill
    Ellington 3-14 8 points
    Green 1-10 3 points
    19-30 free throws
    20+ turnovers

    Duke 13-29 threes
    shot 45%

    Tonight
10-29 threes (didn't think it was that many)
    Shot 34%

    Ellington 6-14 and 16 points
    Green 8-14 18 points
    9-12 free throws
    only 13 turnovers

Carolina took care of the ball a lot better and Duke shot similar to UNC the first time around

Typical dookie comment. Here's how postgame would go:

dookie - "Yeah, hopefully a better team with better talent will be able to beat them. Because we weren't able to get it done on senior night at home with the ACC title on the line..."

Tarheel - "Dook played a good game. We're very happy with the win."

    Love it.

    am i wrong?

duke is too streaky to be able to tell what kind of team will beat them. they've withstood big men teams and guard oriented teams.

carowhina can't hang with big men because regardless of what roy says hansbrough is a defensive liability if there's a good big man.

I think Hansbrough has statistically done better with one true big man rather than the 'group'/'swarming' defense that dook and clemson has been throwing at him.

dook definitely stole a page out of the clemson defensive handbook and played him very well. I thought they would need a very physical game against Hansbrough to slow him down and they did that. Problem is the refs didn't call one single shooting foul. It was a very weirdly officiated game, but whatever. I'll have numbers on that tomorrow, though.

I'm done for the night. Very happy.

About to pass out from the alcohol, so I'll post more tomorrow.
