Awful lot of arguing over NFL Network saying we are interested. Have we arranged a visit yet?

I think Jones would be fine here. He didnt have much in the way of td production obviously from lack of redzone touches. Also, it would be very understandable if he had a lack of motivation this last season with the team kind of phasing him out and turning to barber more. If he can spell Williams and provide good pass protection then he would be an asset to the team. Hopefully he wouldnt be too expensive either.

J Jones would be serviceable if he is cheap. I don't mind it because it means that is one more pick in the 3rd that we can put into the O and D lines or a FS.

    If we take Jones, then:

    1st round: DE
    2nd round: G
    3rd round A: FS
3rd round B: DT or BPA

Jones isn't better than Foster. Foster sucks. Jones sucks worse.

    No thanks.

Williams just needs a change of pace back to pick up 10-15 of his carries.

that's one option, sure. I think there's too much love for Mendenhall and Stewart when I just don't value them that high, but more than that, a vet just makes more sense to me and we're already saddled with draft needs.

Vet and late round RB works for me, see if the late rounder could beat out someone.

Most people here seemed to love that pick, myself included. You never know how a guy will turn out.

The same goes for every position, not just RBs. It seems that these days if you have a decent line any decent runner can be productive.
