    SD likes Weddle, and McCree was overpaid. They want Weddle and Hart to be their starters.

    He's not my favorite safety, but at a similar deal to the one we gave him in '05, ok. I just hope he doesn't mind being a back-up to Harris. No way in hell we should allow Harris and McCree on the field at the same time, no matter how interchangeable our safeties are.

    If we bring him back it'll be to start, for better or worse also, we'll be favorites to lead the league in personal fouls.

    Cooper is not any better in coverage than McCree. We played Minter and McCree most of '05 and it did not kill us. We had good run defense that year despite problems at DT.

    It's funny that they are former players but those are the exact type of players we need in terms of experience.
