how so? If I thought RPI should be the only measure of a team's/confernce's strength, why bring anything else up (rankings)?

feel free to read this and my previous posts again.

    slowly this time.

Between working, having some sort of home life and posting on TBR, I can't imagine you having time to watch both the ACC and Big East at any great length. I'll stick with the RPI until you come up with something better than your unexpert oppinion.

Plus, the top two teams in every conference are most always a lot better than the rest of the conference.

The Big East has some real good team at the top, and people harp on that, but they forget there are some really really bad teams in the bottom half of that conference. St. John's, South Florida, Rutgers, and DePaul are downright awful and Providence and Seton Hall aren't that good either.

Things never seem to have value when you come out on the losing end of it.
    (In this case the RPI...)

According to CNNSi.com Chapel Hill's best RPI win was over BYU back in November.

    Is that true?

I guess I'll let the current RPI standings speak for themselves:
    1) Tennessee - .6874
    2) Memphis - .6679
    3) UNC - .6659
    4) Texas - .6591

OK, I did. First you used a bunch of different variables, then you hung your hat on the RPI, then I called you on it, then you denied it, now I'm failing you again.
