Very possibly no. Kansas, Texas, UCLA, there are a lot of contenders out there. I still think come tourneyment time that Duke's style will serve them well, despite the recent stuggles. There's a lot of parity out there.

    Nowhere near the 05 team.

Upsets happen, but you really think a #8 seed is likely to beat a team with the #1 RPI in the country? Tennessee has flaws, but they have also been tested.

You do realize this same team, minus Tyler Smith, went to the sweet 16 last year?

yup but that doesn't mean they couldn't be beat by an 8. I've seen bigger giants fall.

And UNCCH could lose to a 15 seed.

possible but that'd be doubtful to see a 15 seed make the elite eight

This is a very, very down year for the SEC, so I don't think that Tennessee has been tested as much as you think. They're definitely a good team, but to say that they're much better than UNC or Duke is just silliness.

It's been a down year in the SEC, but our out of conference schedule is nothing to laugh at. At Xavier, at Texas, at Gonzaga, at Memphis, at a bubble West Virginia. To come out of that with only one loss was better than most hoped for.

And North Carolina has a good team, they have lost only as many as UT has. But I think they matchup badly with Memphis, UT, and with Duke. The Duke loss showed some weakness IMO to a certian type of team.
