They called Jesus 'teacher', amongst other things. You think he got paid what he was worth? :couch:

I've edited this out. If you think Paul was referring to a book that hadn't yet existed, there is nothing I can say would change that.

I see what you're getting at, but they did refer to Scripture back then. All good Jews knew that stuff.

Are we capable of full understanding of everything that goes on? 'MAYBE' not?!?
I won't presume to think that I could ever have a Godly understanding of ANYTHING.
I guess I should read the bible more, right?

I do think Jesus was a model to show us how to live and we should strive to be more like Him. To me, that's different than understanding what God 'thinks', which is what we were discussing earlier.

I guess we differ on semantics....I don't believe we can understand everything as God does, but I believe we can think as God thinks in situations, and be guided by those thoughts in choosing how we act. I don't think one can read the Bible and become God, or gain God-like understanding....but I do believe we have the ability to act and think as God (Jesus) would.
To know someone is to understand their motivations, and if you know someone you have a pretty good diea of what they would think or do in certain situations.
I believe, as Jesus has shown, we can be Godly.

The word exists, and has existed, in many forms.

Can you be Black and Christian too? :smartass:

Can You Be Gay and a Christian ? ? ? Why not? Some folks think Christ might've been gay.

[The answer, my friend, lies blowing in the wind.]

Being gay in my mind is not the same as being black. You can't control skin color. You can control if you're going to go against your basic human nature and go after someone of the same sex.

Your last statement, I think I'll just leave alone. May God have mercy on your soul. :shifty:

It was two different comments. The first a smartass one. The second is a legitimate school of thought.
