    Who's been swabbed and had a positive flu diagnosis?

    I want to know some hard core symptoms and how I can determine the flu vs. a sinus infection/cold etc...

    starts with what is like the cold, then feels like a bus hit you. fever. body pain. can't get out of bed.

    I'm on Amoxicilin for an infection. But I'm still coughing with headaches and sleepy. I dunno. And I haven't been swabed either.

    I'm guessing the flu is as bad in NC as in VA. The sucky thing is the strain that's getting everyone isn't covered by this years vaccine. Oh, I wish those with the flu would stay the hell home.

    I've got patients with it... 101+ temps and the inability to even shower without being totally wiped out.

    It is. It's bad in SC too. My aunt is a part time nurse at the drs office on Clemson's campus. They've had students all over the floor because they can't treat them fast enough and the students are so sick they can't stand.

    there's one going around here that's the same as the regular flu -- achy, tired, fever -- but the nausea is replaced by cough and congestion.
