I did like his character. They should have kept him around. The feeling of a great amount of unkown hanging over them and the town having to survive on its own was part of what made it so compelling. Now that it has changed I am not sure the show will be as good.

    LOL

They put it on at Ten so it would not have to compete with American idol or whatever. At least it will get a shot at the ten time slot. I don't think it has lost anything so far but I'm not happy with a short season. I'm in it to the bitter end.

Yeah, I know what you are saying. I think it would have been better to have a strong character like the one Gerald McRaney played, butting heads against the military.

The unknown was definitely an appealing factor on the show last year. I liked the reveal of Hawkins a great deal. I read that the producers are going to have more of an emphasis on Hawkins and Skeet (what a name) teaming up to fight crime this season because that is what the fans have asked for.

God I hope not fighting crime. That would suck. I would think getting the evil overlord in Cheyenne a case of the ass and the loose nuke would be the focus in a seven episode season.

Well, they didn't really say fight crime, that was me. It was more like team up together on missions and what not.

After finally watching the first episode, I enjoyed it. It could still get interesting.

Tonight, ten o'clock, CBS. Be there or be square.

The second episode was intriguing. I hear that the ratings are worse now than they were last season. Looks like 7 episodes is all we will get. I hope they can bring it to a satisfying conclusion that quickly.
