NBA All-Star Game in Charlotte . . . When will it come back?

    The city did a decent job at hosting the 1991 NBA All-Star Game, but the city now has more hotel rooms, a bigger convention center, an actual night life district, a modern arena in a better location, the LYNX light-rail (easier for out of town folks to move around town vs. having to drive every to events) and interest in the NBA here could use a boost. So how come David Stern & Co. keep acting cool about the idea of Charlotte hosting the NBA All-Star game again :confused: ? ? ? ? I'm sure the league would also like to showcase Bob Johnson's ownership & running Time Warner Arena/Center/Forum**

    **With Time Warner's name going on the arena soon, I would think they would be gently pushing the NBA to get us to host the game sooner vs. later to pimp their many cable networks/shows/stars during the game

    Never. Our arena is too small.

    The ACC Tournament and the NCAA Regionals aren't coming back either I'd bet.
