Pardon me, oh rat faced.... I only caught the last 2:00 of the game.

 

What were they 25% from three-ville? They will smoke whomever they play next

 

Tough game. It seemed like they had four guys we couldn't guard, the two guards and Johnson and Skeen on the inside. Dook is vulnerable to that type of lineup, anyone could see it. Paulus is a gutty, instinctive player but he can be exploited on the defensive end. Lance Thomas fouled out in 15 min, that's not going to get it done. Taylor King has lost all confidence and is too meek to compete inside right now. Dook really needs to get Zoubek in a place where he can play for 15 min if need be.

Nolan Smith broke out of a mini-slump last night with a huge game. If he continues to develop his athleticism could fix our back-court problem. I don't think Zoubek can get to a point where he can fix our front-court problem.

Against most teams it won't matter, but it will be enough to likely keep us from winning 6 straight in March.

Dook had all 5 starters foul out - don't know if I've ever seen that happen before.
The new Wake coach is a really good coach. Surprised he hasn't gotten an opportunity before now somewhere. The circumstances around him getting a chance are horrible, but he's making the most of it.

 

Now, that was Christ-like.

 

I don't mind seeing Duke lose to Wake or State. I really hope Wake comes on strong and makes the tourney this year. Duke needs to work on their free throw shooting for sure. Nice win by Wake. ABC.

 

RPI is above 50 with several quality wins. If they can finish .500 I say they are in. What an unbelievable story it would be.
