I did ask are you capable, I asked have you turned away from your sin.

    Edited to add.

Honestly, guy, I'm not trying to condemn you or pick on you. However the same patience God has with you, he has with homosexuals, and I haven't denied it to be a sin. We all sin still, we struggle with the flesh and we fall. Some of us struggle with some things and others other things, but God is patient with us and we should be with each other.

I have. But my life is not perfect. I have done and said things since the day I was saved that wasnt Christ-like. But that's where i confess my faults to God and he forgives me.

    That's not what I read.

You must first believe that homosexuality is a sin in order to confess it. You believe it is. I do not believe it is. You can't convince me that homosexuality is a choice, and I can't convince you otherwise.

But I do know and know of homosexuals who are Christian.

I edited my previous reply to you. I really don't mean to come off as a hard-ass and I'm sorry if I have. We're probably not going to see eye to eye on the issue, but I do believe a person can be homosexual and have a realistic faith in Christ for salvation.

Convince me that homosexuality is NOT a sin? Everywhere else in The Bible its referenced as an abomination (sin)...Romans 1:29-32says it clear "Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, coveteousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, - Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobediant to parents, -Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacible, unmerciful:

"Who knowing the judgement of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them."

The only reason you dont see it as a sin is because you REFUSE to acknowledge it as one. The Bible has and that's what I go by.

"Let God be true, and every man a liar."

And I cant see that in reference to repentance. Christ said in I Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slack concerning his promis as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance."

Non-breeders had no purpose in the times the Bible was written. The Jews needed strength in numbers. Who wrote the Bible? Oh yeah... old jewish men.

So you believe what you want to believe. Take a look at this..

    II Peter 1:20-21

"Knowing the first, that no prophecy (or reading) of the scripture is of any private interpretation. "For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost."

Leviticus 18:22, "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is an abomination."

I hate to inform you that this is not speaking solely of homosexuals. It's actually Paul starting to build his case for why the Gospel should be spread to the Gentiles and why circumcision shouldn't be required for salvation.

If you're going to use that selection to say Homosexuals can't be Christians, are you going to also include the rest of the passage? What about people who are boasters, debaters, disobedient to parents....?

You should really continue reading on into the next chapters to understand what Paul is saying.
