6 games away from home at one stretch right before Christmas. All wins.

I'm not saying those teams are top 5 teams, but those games aren't exactly cakewalks...
Any game that Dook thought might be a tough one - they played at HOME except for the one they LOST @ Madison Square Garden.

alabama shot 11 in their game agaisnt clemson; and virginia shot 15.

so in the games you point out, clemson shot 20 free throws and their opponents shot 33, still less then the officials gave carolina sunday night.

 

you have no idea who i'm a fan of, and thats irrelevant to this discussion. what is relevant is a team being handed a game by the referees, and thats what i find unacceptable.

at least they had to earn it honestly last night. i actually thought there were quite a few calls that should have gone in their favor that didnt. the big white boy for uva held a unc player on about every rebound attempt.

 

until unc's opponent shoots 36 free throws to carolinas 7, then we'll hear plenty about free throws.

 

you need to stick to college football, then you can argue that fact because teams may not play each other. however, duke rolled into the dean dome and kicked the shit out of carolina, so they may not have been number 1, but does that matter, at this point in the season?

But, in the off chance that you're not and you're really just stupid, let me explain. My comments above were saying that sly's 'layman' opinion of the Tarheels not even being an average team this year is just that - HIS opinion. There are people, a lot smarter, whose opinions actually matter that disagree with that opinion.
