checking in with unc fever

Apparently, this is another game that no one watched.
If you'd seen the game, you would know that another one of our starters - Deon Thompson left the game with a knee sprain. He returned but wasn't moving well at all. You'd also have known that our 3rd point guard - QT had 3 fouls in the first half and 4 for much of the 2nd half, and didn't play much. Now, he's a horrible point guard, but we had to rely on Marcus Ginyard (our 4th PG!) to run point for a lot of the game, and he's WAY worse. Two really bad sequences stick out in my mind - Marcus drove to the basket, between two defenders into a double team and just dropped the ball. That was with about 15 mins left in the 2nd half. Then with about 5 mins left in the game, he drove to the middle of the lane and threw a ball 6 feet over Deon Thompsons head out of bounds...
If you'd watched the game, you would also have noticed the fact that Tyler Hansbrough was having his way with UVA in the first half, but was smothered in the second half with noone to get him the ball.
You would also have noticed how many critical 3's UVA kept hitting.

Now, for those that love the box score - UVA had 7 turnovers. UNC had 17. Huge difference there. Had to be those damn UVA refs.....

Any win on the road in the ACC is a good win. We'll take it whether it's by 1 point or 30.

 

So... Nelson, Singler, Henderson, and Paulus (espescially) have to push off with their arm to get a shot off in the lane. It happens all game long.

You guys don't have anything better to argue about? Free throws? Come on...

Injuries happen and they are certainly a part of UNC sucking but I seem to remember you at full strength when Davidson and GT took you to the wire and when Maryland beat you.

UNC is an average team this year.

You see, Duke isn't stuggling with mediocre teams like UNShe does every night with or without Lawson.

And only a moron like you would use the fact that UNC was over-rated preseason to say they are good. If they had been ranked where they should have been, somewhere between 15-20 then they would be ranked correctly now, around 18 or so.

 

so, what happens when Ty whoever the fuck you are talking about comes back and unc loses by 10 again? Will you shut the fuck up?

Overrated pre-season?? So, being #1 in the country for what 10, 11, 12 weeks during the regular season doesn't count? DOOK hasn't been there yet...
