Defense part from above---
There really aren't plays on D, just more of different types. The players didn't execute and that doesn't fall on Roy. Which is what he said above.

Offense from above---
He told them to get a dunk or shot clock violation, which again the players didn't execute.

I do get the part where he thought his players though he was kidding or something, I don't really know, but I will admit he needs to jump in a few player faces and tell them to get their shit straight, that entirely falls on the part of coaching.

11 of the 20 TO's came from QT and Stepenson, QT has always concerned me with handling the ball, he just doesn't make sound decision on a consistant basis and his TO's weren't really from dook but just more of the fact he sucks at handling the ball. Stephenson TO's probably were attributed more to dook though.

As far as drawing plays up, the missed shots by Ellington and Green were mostly wide open shots, not too much that's going to help a very off night by those two.

The better team won last night without a doubt, but it was more of UNC beating themselves, outside of dook hitting a lot of 3's and the gimme TO's from QT dook didn't play all that great, but that was more than enough of a difference.

 

some guys have it and some guys dont. unc used to play smart, they played good defense and they passed the ball very well. i dont know what the fuck they're doing now. looks like a pick up game down at the park sometimes.

 

They may be his own words, but my observations are in my own words. Duke won because UNC beat themselves. If the game was even matched with all weapons firing, in my opinion, it would have been much different.

And I know basketball quite well. Im not the "fucking incompetant moron" as you claim I am. But when you give up more steals, turnovers, and your opponent shoots better than you - most likely, you're going to lose and we did. This wasnt just a coaching loss, it was a total team loss.
