We are a MUCH better team than dook. I'm not even that upset that we lost to be honest. It hurts as always, but not too bad this time. The game went as I thought it would: dook hoisting 3's and the heels crushing them on the inside. We just didn't play very well and it didn't really have that much to do with Lawson being out, which gives me some comfort. QT played well, so I won't even use that one as an excuse. We should've beat this team with or without Ty.

Dook just wasn't that impressive, not to say they haven't been impressive at times this year. They have no answer down low to the point of laughter. They can bow out of the NCAA at any round IMO as soon as they face a low post team.

With Ty we would have ran their legs off much like last year and it's hard to hit 3's with no legs. But we could have beaten them in a half court game as well and that's what bothers me so. Green and Ellington lost the game for us. They could not have played any worse. There were just too many blown opportunities and it had nothing to do with dook defense at all. They have to be the least athletic team in the ACC.

We are a much better team. You can say, well, we beat you last night, and I can't argue with that. But it was one game and I'm glad Roy realized that and sit Ty. So crow all you want. We shall see you soon.

Duke made up for the rebounding deficit with steals and blocks. They are a perimeter team and are not strong inside. There is nothing wrong with that. Sometimes that will beat a strong inside team. Let the big guy do his damage but stop everyone else.....
