Just in from the game. I am fucking exhausted. Congrats to Duke. They are a better team than I gave credit to. Great defense, and three point shooting. Lance Thomas played well in a short period of time. Wait I think Paulus hit another three. QT played his heart out but one more assist than turnovers sucks. Ellington needs his face plastered on a milk carton. Looking forward to them playing again with both teams at full strength

Good game, I was there too...that drive was rough coming home :).

Tyler is one of my favorite players ever, simply because he's the big man and yet he's ALWAYS scrapping on the floor, taking the tough foul, etc. He embodies the intensity that college sports should be about. He was in that game, like always, to play to win from the start until the last second.

Q.T. drove me INSANE with his turnovers and almost turnovers (behind the back dribbling when he is right on the sideline, almost falling down, etc.). But he did make some decent plays and dook sure didn't cause his problems, can't believe there wasn't more of a press on him knowing how weak we are in that role without lawson...

Ellington and Green, what can I say...

Duke ran plays REALLY well, I couldn't believe how often UNC collapsed the D on a drive instead of just letting the big man handle those drives, leaving WIDE OPEN 3's available to EXCELLENT 3-point shooters...did we not watch any tape of how Duke plays? In the second half, Duke pulled Tyler outside and converted on those drives instead of kicking it out, amazing that we couldn't come up with a D to stop that since we OWNED the inside otherwise...

Overall, Coach K is still one of the ugliest and meanest looking people on the planet, and Carolina has a lot of HOT women. Advantage, UNC as always :).

Lance Thomas came up huge for dook, and Singler had exactly the type of performance that we needed. Nolan Smith was a little too aggressive but he didn't hurt dook too bad.

Taylor King's confidence is rightly shot. Anyone can go out there and hoist shots from 25 feet, it doesn't make you special. He desperately needs to work on shot selection and not shooting everytime he touches it. It seems like his teammates are becoming reluctant to pass to him which puts everyone in a bad spot.

Sad to see Zoubeck couldn't go, not that I was expecting it. Hansbrough should have had 40 but UNC for some reason stopped feeding him the ball. Roy is a terrible game coach, proven again last night with his decision to go into zone immediately giving up a 3 and forgetting his team had an unguardable player.

As well as dook played, we all know it would be a different game with Lawson out there. If Smith can't keep up with Ty I don't know who will. Nelson damn near fouled out, I don't know if he has the speed to stay in front of Lawson. There may be a lot more zone played in Durham, looking forward to it though.

Duke is different this year because they aren't relying on one or two players. For them to go cold they'll have to have 5 players be off on the same night, and Ellington always sucks against Duke. He hasn't hit double figures once in three games. I think he doesn't like playing against Henderson.

I know what you're saying, but even last night dook had a stretch where they went scoreless for 4+ min. It's happening damn near every game. If only we had one low post threat, just one.
