No. I mean everyone knows that losing your top point guard should have no imapct at all on your ability to beat a good team - especially when that PG presents one of the biggest match up problems for the other team.

In fact, most teams lpay big games without a point guard because it's easier that way.

So obviously Lawson would have no impact on the game whatsoever. :basket:

Yes, I know, but I'll still take that as a yes.

Take it however you like. Obviously, most people understand that losing your starting PG does tend to have an effect. You should probably let the guys at Bristol know that they need to change their tune as well:

Edit - the fact of the matter is that this injury has the potential to do a lot more damage than just the Heels losing to dook. Without Lawson, I can't consider this team to be anything close to a legit Final 4 threat.

Big if. If the Heels lose w/o Lawson that just gives added incentive to beat the Debils on their senior day

I understand just throwing it out there. It does kinda suck that both won't be at full strength.

You lose your first and second string point guards, and get back to me. Combine that with the fact that UNC's high powered offense of getting the ball down the court as fast as possible, fast breaking on made baskets and constantly running a very up tempo game was hinged on Lawson's renowned ability to be the fastest one up the court. Another problem comes in the fact that previously, teams were unable to press UNC because of Lawson's ability to break them so easily [yet again, pushing the ball up the court]. Now UNC must prepare for a team oriented press break because Quentin Thomas is simply unable to break the press as well as Lawson.
