Lincoln Financial Sports is no more.

Raycom Sports is broadcasting the game in HD, along with 4 other regular season games, including Thursday's NCSU/Duke matchup, as well as the entire ACC tourney.

Why only 4 games?? What good is that equipment they bought last year doing in the closet? They should have a "game of the week" every week in which they use it. It would've also been nice had they pulled the cameras out for use during football season this past year.

The HD broadcasts are done with leased trucks and equipment.

There are more HD trucks coming online and more HD broadcasts will be available in the future. Currently, Raycom Sports owns 2 SD only trucks.

Last Duke/UNC game I went to was the shiznit. Normally the Dean Dome isn't all that loud, but it got loud that night.

I don't understand why a network like Fox can spend 300 million on securing the rights to NFL games but don't spend $1 million buying an extra hd capable truck. Why would they lease a piece of equipment like that in the first place, it would seem more cost effective to own your own.

Anyway, my point is, if there are two games on and one is in hd and the other isn't, I almost always choose the hd game. They need to get ALL of the NFL games in HD, and MOST of the college basketball/NBA games in HD. It's time.
