    You are not a fighter, so I don't fight you. Same with AK and Vito and Hasbeens.

    Fair enough. But at the same time that they have a right to their beliefs, they also shape the reality of my culture. And I see myself defending what is true, not only for me, but for truth itself.

    I have the right to speak freely in my life. And however minor, narcissistic, and irrelevant it ultimately is, this forum is a component of my life. Whether anyone here likes it or not, Religion is Politics.

    I do read the "debates" though and it's hard sometimes to follow when it gets to the ugly name calling stuff.

    Are you now trying to claim some sort of First Amendment* right to speak here? I'm sorry, that doesn't fly. The 1st gives you the right to speak your mind without fear of government punishment. But even that has been restricted in cases where your right is outweighed by the public good.

    Neither you, nor anyone else, has a "right" to speak your mind on tbr.

    * It's R&S, I'm not allowed to say it.

    Maybe R&S has run its course. Maybe the rules should be tossed and people should be free to say whatever they want, and those who don't like it can ignore it.

    I personally don't think so, but this forum has never been about what I want. It's always been an effort to best facilitate what I've thought TBR wanted. If TBR has changed its collective mind, then so be it.

    I think that this discussion should show exactly the opposite. R&S has an important place here, and most everyone who visits here understands and respects the rules.

    I don't think that tharan's case is any different than MIssterry's. He is deliberately trying to cause problems and then claiming victim status because he doesn't believe in God.

    I think that the result in his case should be the same as it was in hers.

    I don't, unless you're gonna ban everyone else who has broken the rules in here.

    I don't think that many people have been consistently requested to comply by them and ignored those requests. In fact, I can only think of 1.
