    I think the Bible was written by man and that there is a lot in it, including parts of Genesis, that isn't accurate. However, there are plenty of lessons to be learned by reading it. What I do believe I can't necessarily prove by referencing the Bible, which is why its called 'faith'.

    So you think everybody started out the same looking and where you moved to/the elements determined what you ended up looking like?

    Not sure if everyone looked the same, but I do think environment played a part later on.

    I believe we are all "fearfully and wonderfully" made, we were all given challenges from day one, how we reacted to those challenges produces who we are. I believe this individually as well as historically. JMO

    yeah, too bad it got locked down. of course, it was just another thread about evolution and whether you could add god to any equation and still have it add up.

    same as any thread where anyone wants to prove anything in here. One person wants to prove this makes God not exist, the other says it doesn't necessarily do so. Or, the other way around. In this case, we just had a pair of people specifically ignoring basic decorum and pretending that trolling here is OK. Everyone was already convinced they were right before it got bad anyway, so no loss.

    Sometimes I really do wish this forum existed to share beliefs, and learn, rather than just be a warzone for people who have issues with religion v/s people who have religion.
