i haven't yet seen these. seeing as how you put super troopers adn 12 angry men on your list, there may be one in there that i like (other than casablanca, of course). looking at my list, which of those do you think i should put in the netflix queue?

10 Things I hate about you is a teen comedy reworking of shakespeare, doubt that is your cup of tea, but it is really clever, and Larisa Oleynik is hot. It had a great cast too, Larisa, Gabrielle Union, Heath Ledger (RIP), David Krumholz, Joseph Levitt Gordon or whatever his name is from 3rd Rock and the movie Brick (which was also really great), and Julia Stiles.

Little Manhattan is great if you liked the Wonder Years. If you were not a fan, it wouldn't be up your alley.

Nothing to Lose is a buddy comedy with Tim Robbins and Martin Lawrence. Totally outlandish. Way more funny than it should have been.

Spanglish was billed as a romantic comedy, but it is more like a family drama. Nothing like a regular Adam Sandler movie.

The movie you would like the best out of those is most likely Punch Drunk Love. It is a PT Anderson (Boogie Nights, Magonlia, There Will Be Blood) movie. One of my friends described it as what would happen if you took an Adam Sandler character and put him in the real world. It is very subtle, but really intense.

    And Casablanca whips ass.

I could see how it looks that way (especially if I would've included Point Break), but no. He just happens to be in a lot of movies I like in spite of him, not because of him.
