    damn!

i was just thinking about that.

it took me almost a day to find it them. i got totally lost, but passed by some closed down mills that i wanted to go back to and photograph.

i remember the place i went to was on a hill. it was somebody's house, right close to the street.

i couldn't believe how difficult it was to find raw green peanuts.

i've still got the map that i bought that day.

I used to buy them by the bushel, invite some friends over, buy some beer and they would be gone before Happy Hour was over. Of course, Happy Hour being over depended on when money ran out, so maybe that's not a good timeline. The saltier the juice, the better....umm...I didn't say that.

We've got a member on the board that is a big peanut farmer, distributor and wholesaler of all kinds of peanuts; specialty is roasted.

Low heat for a while with a bunch of salt. It's an art I haven't mastered. I still cook up a couple big ass dutch oven loads of them every year. Probably have 10 zip lock bags of then in the fridge right now

you pick them out of your shit and re-use them?

I hear MikeNinerHunt left two pounds of them in a chick's shower. they wouldn't fit down the drain so he just left them their in a pile.

    Kudos to Mike

Haven't had a peanut in 2 years. I miss peanut butter on Ritz crackers.

Wouldn't that be roasted (or fried) nuts?

I've always been curious about these boiled nuts. So, you get green peanuts, boil them in water, add salt and eat them?

I think there are some steps missing :34:.
