    shells don't come off. i take raw green peanuts in my big aluminum pot and put in a bunch of them with some kosher salt --- a lot of it -- and just let them boil for hours.

    I haven't searched for it, but I think I remember LarryD starting up a log assed thread when he still lived here looking for peanuts to boil. I wanna say he found them in Midland or something. Or maybe at the place on 218 down near 601.
