    Yeah, they said the same thing when they added Fl St. They thought it would raise the level of football in the conference. All it did was drag the Seminoles down.

    ACC was a huge powerhouse before they added the Big East teams. Huge I tell ya.


    and as for the hoops, be thankful you took VaTech, Miami and BC and not Syracuse, Georgetown and UConn. Tarheels and Duke would be battling for the conf. tournament's fourth seed.

    I never thought Florida State belonged either. It used to mean something if you were from the ACC. When I was a kid we all pulled for the ACC teams in the tournament. Even if you pulled against UNC or NC State during the ACC season you pulled for them in the NCAA tournament. You pulled for any ACC team against any non conference team. That is all a thing of the past now. I am not even sure who is in the ACC any more.
