    Finally got a 360 back. I had one from 2007, yet they sent me back a refurbished one from july of 2006..when they were even bigger pieces of shit.

    Anybody who's had their 360 sent off to be repaired under warranty... what's the approximate turnaround time for getting it back? Mine waited for me to pick up Elder Scrolls Oblivion to decide that every disc I give it, CD DVD or otherwise, is an "Unplayable Disk." My saved games are safe and sound on the detachable hard drive, so it's not the end of life or anything, but it's still a pain in the nuts.

    they need to get on that. Their whole customer service department for these replacements were outsourced to some company that hires high school dropouts, so errors happen. You can take your packed up dead xbox into any UPS store, and they automatically recognize what the box is. That's laughable.

    I sold off all my 360 stuff and got a ps3. I'm happy with it, although the 360 does do some things better.

    I had the ring of death and the turnaround was around 2 weeks.
