    A commendation for Coughlin

    Tom Coughlin deserves recognition for the leadership example he showed on the sideline, exposing himself to the same elements his team was facing.

    Some might have been concerned with the frostbite reddening his face, but I think he stayed exposed to the elements (like a Marine officer would do) to motivate his troops.

    Notice that the Green Bay coach was bundled up in his Michelin man outfit, and was obviously warmer than his players.

    So who got the better effort out of his team?

    Please tell me you're not suggesting that the outcome of a conference championship game was determined by how concerned players were with their coach's attire.
