Forgot how GREAT they were musically from 1973-1979. SO far ahead of their time. Especially 1973-1976.

I'm leaving my house in 15 minutes to go to Best Buy to purchase Kissology 1.

MULTIPLE PRO-SHOT shows of KISS from 1974-1977.

Having a couple's poker tournament tonight (birthday party for me). We'll be jamming to KISS all night. (Everyone will be pissed...I know).

I love older KISS. Paul Stanley has a beautiful guitar collection. He really wasn't a technical god in any sense of the word, but theatrically he was a whole lot of KISS that wouldn't be the same without him.

Alive and Hotter Than Hell are important recordings to own if your a fan of 70's glam rock. If you don't have them, I suggest you pick up Alive prior to Hotter Than Hell to get a bit of an all round feel for the early years of this band. Just a suggestion.

Hotter than Hell has the WORST production of any of their releases. Good songs? Parasite, Watchin' You, Strange Ways, Hotter than Hell, Got to Choose...fuck yeah it's got the songs. Just wish it didn't sound like it was recorded in a week (oh...it was!).

IMO, KISS' self titled is their best studio release. Then Hotter, Dressed to Kill, Destroyer, Love Gun, Rock and Roll Over. Both live albums are great.

Everything after Alive II is absoulute shit...with Creatures of the Night being the exception. :27:

    lol.

KISS never really had a decently produced album until later on in their tenure. My brother used to lend me his KISS records and as a girl who got into hard rock and some metal, only a few tunes did it for me. I don't know, the bad production on those early records was part of the whole KISS package.

I stole all my brothers tatoos from his 'Originals' lp. lol.

Time Warner Cable has a couple of live shows on one of their on demand music or entertainment channels right now.

I think Revenge is a pretty good album.

You must mean their make-up. Their songs and music was in one word "CRAP".

Music like all art forms is a very subjective thing. I have no idea what music you like but I am sure there are those who think it is crap too.

If you like glam metal then KISS is one of the best.

I like music that has lyric's that contain more then the same six or seven words the whole song. That's all .
