    yeah, I was just reading an article about it and that said there will be a lot of "surface" changes (new music, set etc.) to the show this season.

    Last year was the first year ratings have dropped. They're thinking it mostly had to do with a bland group of contestants, but are making some tweaks anyway.

    Last year sucked. I probably won't even watch the glorified karaoke show this year.

    this is a better show this year -- you can tell already.
