Fox Sports has a lot of regional college basketball games, and live sports drives most HDTV purchases I'd bet. Between the sheer number of HD channels on Directv and Dish, as well as the NFL Network and the Sunday Ticket on Directv, I would imagine TWC is losing a lot of sports subscribers (who tend to have higher overall bills due to sports tiers.)

Fox Sports has had the ACC for several years now, and are broadcasting many games a week in HD for all of college basketball. I haven't seen the channel on satellite (although I know that it is carried.) I hope this channel is added to TWC, and soon.

On an HD note, I watched yesterday's Cowboy game on over the air HD. I finally found my digital channels and I have to say, it looked better than the cable HD channel. I can only imagine the difference over satellite. For all you HD owners out there, it's worth it checking out the digital local channels, the PBS and football games look amazing. Of course, your tv has to have a built-in tuner to decode these channels, but most hdtvs have this now.

Well, since I wasn't interesting in duke basketball, I have no idea.

But I have watched a lot of games on Mojo in HD.

    And yes, they were live.

Cmon now, you should know that TWC won't add any more channels if it would cost subscribers more money** . . .

**Cable rates increased $5 for digital cable this year . . . Scratch that thought   . . .

Lets crawl before we walk. I'm just interested in getting channels on TWC that are already being broadcast.

SDS, TWC said they will be adding a lot more HD channels soon, so we'll see.

We're going to switching cable, it is similar to what DSL uses to get high speed internet off of a phone line.
