Guess you head into Greenville like everyone else in Farmville.

I miss Greenville, and I am sad that the football team wasn't better when I was there. My freshman year was 2001, when Steve Logan was still there and we played Marshall at the bowl game in Mobile, Alabama (can't remember the name). I finished up at ECU with John Thompson at the helm...not good times.

Was very excited to see ECU beat Boise though. It's a definite sign of Skip's progress, and hopefully an indicator of the direction of the program in the future. Gonne be a tough non-conference schedule next year...

how many more years can you guys keep Skip Holtz before he's gobbled up by a program "at the next level"?

Not sure. I feel certain he could've gotten a gig at a higher caliber school than ECU from the beginning. Makes me curious about his goals, and makes me think he may be more interested in building a program than walking into someone else's legacy. Salary isn't much of an issue at ECU either. I think he may be around for awhile.

I pray that you are right my friend. I have heard his name mentioned this season a lot for other jobs, but I think that he is very happy at East Carolina. He's doing a hell of a job for us Pirate Fans.

    GO PIRATES!
