How are you guys doing this year?

I am planning my next trip back to Ohio and I was going to go the week of Feb. 4th so I could go to the the 49er vs. Flyers game...........but if I wait and go the following week I can go to 2 home games for Dayton against Duquesne and Temple.

Decisions decisions...............which is better - getting to see Dayton kick Charlotte's ass or getting to go to 2 games.

    Suggestions?

Serioulsy, I'd go for the two home games. Charlotte sucks at away games so while you may see one good game (at least from your prospective) by going the first week, you'll see two good games if you wait until the next week. This is all subject to if the Buckeye hoopsters are playing, then you will naturally go to Columbus and all this won't matter anyway.

Its odd I know but I follow Ohio State football and Dayton Flyers basketball........ never the reverse.

...and I have this fear that the 49ers will come to town and kick butt too and I don't want to be there to see that! - maybe I will just stay here and watch that game on line or on TV if it would happen to be shown here. (which by the way if you are interested in watching it on line you can go to the Flyers home page and log in for free. Unless the game is being shown on ESPN it will be there)

I'm just messing with ya oos. The fan thing is an ongoing arguement around here. I'm actually glad to see Dayton playing well and hope all A10 teams play well. You are in "ACC" land now and if you haven't realized yet, most people around here are oblivious to the fact that there is good, if not better, basketball being played outside the ACC. Best of luck to your Flyers, except when they play the Niners. Oh yea, I'll probably still continue to give you a hard time about not pulling for the Dayton football team! :gossip:

Guess no one answered this for you. The Niners are extremely young this year with only one returning starter. Goldwire can be unconscience from 3 land or he can't hit the side of a barn. If he isn't scoring the Niners struggle to score period. This Niners team plays defense, however, and that is what is keeping most games close and leading to victories. Oh yea, the Niners suck monkey balls on the road but are unbeaten at home. So that should bode well for the Dayton game, at least from your prospective. I'd predict a Niner loss for that game unless the Niners figure out how to win on the road and with so many new faces that will only come from experience.
