Auburn, that is...only SEC team I have ever really liked, altough I have been warming to Georgia.

You could pretty much see that coming, though, couldn't you? I'm surprised that I was pulling for Clemson given that I do like Auburn, but I told a friend (who went to Auburn) before the game that it would be close and Clemson would have a late lead but inevitably choke. It's what they do.

I went to a party last night after halftime and didn't see the game. Auburn couldn't do anything with their new offense. And yet I'm unsuprised at the outcome.

They moved the ball some with the #2 QB in there. Kind of an odd move to impliment the offense going into a bowl game rather than doing it in the off-season, but they pulled it off better than I expected with only a few weeks of work. Guess they wanted to get started sooner than later.
Auburn has thier entire O-line back next year and only two of them will be Seniors. They should be pretty tough if they can master the Spread.

Pretty much. That's gotten to be the Clemson MO during the Bowden coaching era. I thought Clemson was the more talented team last night but as it happened I've come to expect them to blow it late in the game. I'm a Tar Heel fan so this isn't a bias about Clemson one way or the other. Just an observation from watching them play.

I'm biased and your observation is correct.

Last night, I knew the defense would be sketchy as two starting linebackers were too stupid to pass a class in order to be able to play. At least they didn't cheat on an online music exam. Anyways, I didn't expect the offense to look as bad as it did. Harper has been solid all year. His passes were off all night. It didn't help that our receivers dropped several that did happen to be right in their hands. Oh well, at least Clemson's OC decided to withdraw his name from the UT job.

In other news, with UT's victory over Wisconsin, the SEC is 4-1 in bowls this year, and continue their dominance over the Little 10. :daisy:
