I like Nigella too, though Gordon Ramsay takes the piss out of her all the time. She's a sensualist - you can tell she really loves the food, although I have to admit that the descriptions are almost over the top sometimes - that's her kick and good on her. Her Dad was actually the Chancellor of the Exchequer and she's had some real tragedy in her life - her Mum, sister and husband have all died from cancer - but she doesn't bang on about it like that should afford her any slack - she just gets on with it. I remember on one of her shows saying that she's just lost weight on the Atkins diet and was carb obsessed. At the end of the show she wolfed down a bowl of pasta and I thought - bloody good on ya. I like her - I think she's real and that's part of her appeal .

    :cheer:.

I also like the end show thing where she sneaks back in (usually in jammies) and gobs down a load of what she's just made - brilliant!

I've never tried Yorkshire pudding (usually a savoury dish) served with Golden Syrup - only a foodie could think of that!

I've had the opportunity to fondle some beautiful racks in my life, but never that big. What the hell do you do with them?

Her "tablescapes" look as if she invaded the neighborhood yard sale. Also, she always says, "This so yummy. I can' wait for you to try this recipe."
