Get it. Unbelievable fun. Had 4 people rocking out (me on vocals, nephews on drums and lead guitar, and my brother on bass), and we must've played for 7-8 hours (with various other people subbing in at times). Some of those songs are just insane tough, but we ended up with a tour bus, a star on the walk of fame, our own roadies, etc. before the tour had to end :).

No Wii version yet, but everything else is supported. XBox360 version is the bomb with great internet options.

Yeah...I played over the Christmas break over a friend's house. He rocked the drums and I did guitar and vocals. We kicked ass!

My daughter keeps asking for this game. What other devices must we buy? Guitar set? Drums?

You just get the $170 Rock Band Special Edition - it comes with the drums, microphone, and guitar. Nothing else needed. And it's beyond fun - you should definitely get xbox live cooking too so you can download extra songs for it (at a minor cost).

i'm waiting for a wii version. wtf! this seems right up the wii's alley of accessible party games for non-traditional gamers. have they even announced it for wii yet?
