    It'd be a good fit to start some local rivalries in football not to mention they'd probably rule the roost in hoops. They'd probably look to get in there or the Big South with Coastal Carolina and the rest.

    Couldn't we look into going into the BIG EAST with hoops with some guarantee that within 10 years that we would bring our football program into Div-1A ? ? ? SoCon is fine for the short term, but if there is a way we could get into the BIG EAST now (with the financial commitment we are making to upgrade our overall athletic program to start a football team), I saw we should look into that.
