    Cowboys safety Williams suspended for horse-collar tackle
    NEW YORK, Dec 18 (Reuters) - Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl safety Roy Williams was suspended for one game for committing his third horse-collar tackle of the season, the National Football League said.
    Williams, who can appeal the suspension, would miss Saturday's game against the Carolina Panthers. The suspension would cost Williams $35,000, one game's pay.
    The rule against the horse-collar tackle, where a player is pulled down from behind by grabbing the uniform near the neck, was enacted in May 2005 after three such tackles by Williams in the 2004 season and another in preseason caused injuries.
    This season, Williams had already been fined $27,500 for two horse-collar tackles.
    In Sunday's Cowboys game against Philadelphia, Williams yanked Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb down from behind after a 17-yard first-quarter scramble and drew a 15-yard penalty for unnecessary roughness.

    They need to suspend UNC's Roy Williams after that coaching debacle against Nichols State.

    Face it holes, you suck this year.

    i know half of you douches are gonna say that it's a home game for duke but it's not like pitt doesn't have access to tickets.

    regardless, it's a big time game. probably the biggest college game so far this year in a tourney type atmosphere.

    so far duke looks pretty good. but it's early. be nice to see duke play a full game compared to the last few years.



    well, this was supposed to be a whole new thread, but it's not. i'd ask lj4three to move it, but that unibrowed cow worshiper is never around anymore.
