The thing is, as maddeningly inconsistent as we've been, our conference record allows us to have a faint pulse right now.

If the Wild-Card tie-breaker is applied, it would come down to Carolina and New Orleans to see who would represent the South in the tiebreaker.

Division records would be 3-3 each, common games 6-6. Carolina would move to a tiebreaker vs. Washington (East) and Minnesota (North) with a 8-4 NFC record vs. NO's 7-5.

Panthers conf record then trumps MIN + WSH to grab the six slot.

It's a longshot. But its hope and something to play for.

And with that passage, you SIR, have earned your way to the VIP room. We have 72 virgins ready and available to discuss blocking technique and clock management.

If there is anything you need, just let me know and I will make it happen.

Did Dwayne Jarrett play at all yesterday? I didn't notice him. Has Ryne moved ahead of him?

NFL Gamebook says Jarrett did not play. Hopefully he sees time next week.

I don't know what to say about that, Ryne hasn't played WR but a few snaps before today and Jarrett's been active for, what, three games? THe thing I don't understand is why we didn't sneak Robinson for a few more snaps while he was active all year.

he responded allright to seeing PT, I thought.
