and it will never work. supernatural means beyond natural. you can't use nature to measure something that is, by definition, measurable. if you measure it, it becomes natural.

and how would you know that's actually jesus and not something else? how do you know it's not, for example, satan? or maybe loki, just messing around? perhaps it's an alien. perhaps some other god that nobody on earth has any clue about.

Who ever came up with the concept of Christ Mas. In spanish this is interpreted to mean More (mas ) of Christ. This seems to be all the world needs! First it has to endure an entire season of Christmas with the hoopla and then on top of that people are celebrating and invoking even more of Christ. Don' t people get enough of Christ on the weekend without having to impose more on helpless citizens?!

Or, it could be the Christ Mass. But you were on a roll there with the Germans invading Pearl Harbor, so I'll not interfere.

Pretty sure BV was being a little tongue-in-cheek there.

The description of Christ's return found in the latter books of the New Testament is pretty spectacular. It's theoretically possible another entity could fulfill those prophecies, but if anyone other than Jesus actually does, the planet and all of mankind is pretty much screwed.

I think it was about the question discussed earlier regarding testing for God's influence (as compared to gravity) versus testing for God Himself. Anyway, the question was answered.
