I don't know about that or not. He may not be the dominating player he is at App but he could play in any league, ask Michigan.

    App

Thats why there is a playoff system. So the coaches, media or computer doesnt decide who the national champion is. It's decided on the field, the way it should be. The FCS teams are allowed 30 less scholarships than the BCS teams, and are normally not funded anywhere close to the big schools. So yes, it is a real National Championship game played by teams that are on the same levels.

If there is a quarter final and a semi final, a champion can then be crowned.:189:

If you don't think Armanti Edwards is tough enough to play D1 football you are crazy. The game against Michigan he was playing with a dislocated shoulder as well as half the season. If you think he was the least bit intimidated why don't you go back to the play where he scrambled for about 15 and jumped over 3 Michigan players to get into the end zone. Now don't get me wrong when I say this I don't think Tebow is worst then Armanti and I know the competition is better but in 4 less games, Armanti averages 100 yards more rushing a game and has 1 more rushing touchdown. Yes, he also has about 10 less passing touchdowns. But for his league Armanti Edwards makes a bigger impact. By that I mean there is alot bigger drop off from a very good second string quarter back to the first string. If Tebow got injured I think with Florida's surrounding cast they still win about as many games. Without Armanti I don't think App comes close. Armanti has the ability to escape pressure at the last second and turn it into a 30 yard rushing or passing gain. As for toughness. He has taken plenty of big hits and he pops straight back up. He is registered at 6'3 and all of 175. But his speed eludes a bunch of big hits he could receive and when he does happen to receive one he pops straight back up. I talked to a ref at the game last weekend at halftime and I said what do you think of our QB. He laughed and said he had only seen one better and that was Vince Young. He didn't know Armanti was a sophomore. I continued to go on and ask him for his league how big of an impact he thought Armanti made. He said there was none bigger with his ability to read the defense and then opt to either hand it off to Richardson or take it himself or pull back and pass. He said he possessed all of the qualities of a D1 QB and looked like he was just playing in a league above of what they were in. A kinda running at a hundred percent while it looked like everyone else was running at 80 scenario. Please when reading my post don't think for a second that I wouldn't pick Tebow over Edwards because I am not stupid, I would. This was just to respond to Armanti's toughness and how good he is as a quarterback for any league.

Take this junk to that other thread - the pissing contest one.

Anyhow, this should be an offensive shoot-out. I predict that Delaware will focus too much on stopping Edwards and get burned for it.

By the way, that James Madison fumble at the end of the game is looking bigger and bigger now. If JMU held on to the ball...

Flacco is the Delaware QB and from what I saw of him Saturday he sure looks like he has a shot at the NFL. He's a big fucker like old Rothlisberger-whatsisname from the Steelers. App still wins though. Lots more team speed.

Flacco transfered to Delaware from Pittsburgh. Guess he got tired of backing up Tyler Palko, man did that guy have some bad years once fitzgerald got out. Oh and as for the guy that said App wasn't the best team in the country, he must be one of those michigan fans that get their hopes up every year when all they have to do is just beat ohio state to make the NC and then of course they just choke. Looks like you didn't have to wait that long this year.

    Michigan

If in fact it was a Michigan fan, here is some info. Tomorrow (Wed) Dec 12 he can tune to either Directv#631 or Dish #437 at 1:00 PM EST and watch "Under The Lights" titled "A Date With Destiny". Appalachian State. So if anyone has forgot or cant remember...set your Tivo.
