I didn't know that I wasn't ever allowed to tease anyone else, nor that I said I never did so. In fact, I don't think I've ever said that "I don't start shit," but thanks for making an ass of yourself.

For the record, Thelt being wrong about the Bobcats' season isn't much different than me being wrong the Panthers'. Both are guesses and neither is particularly important, although it was pretty obvious from the beginning that he was being unreasonably optimistic. That's what fans do, though, and that's ok. Still, it's fun to tease someone as long as the peanut gallery doesn't have any humorless automatons who make it into a bigger deal than it is.

i'll keep that mind next time i see you all huffy when someone says something about you. Whether they're joking or not.

And if the shoe were on the other foot in the football forum, you'd be telling thelt how stupid he is. But, that's just my opinion. Not that it really even matters.

I take ribbing all the time and I let that slide. Someone actually coming after me is quite different, and so is my response. Now do yourself a favor and shut the fuck up.

The fact that they pulled an ancient QB off his couch and he played so much better than Carr that he took over as the starter pretty much confirms that Carr was the biggest problem with the offense.

I haven't been hypocritical about anything, although it's pathetic that you're so desperate to attack me that you'd claim otherwise. You really are quite the loser. You're the one who escalated this into a fight, dumbass. Congratulations.

Except that he didn't. Both had poor completion percentages and bad QB ratings, and while Testaverde had 2 more touchdowns, he was also responsible for an extra turnover. The fact that he couldn't play better than Testaverde could be considered an indictment, but it's been blindingly obvious that QB has not been our main offensive problem. That's why we looked awful on offense even with Jake except for the first preseason game and the second half against St. Louis.
Again, I hope you're just saying that to be obstinate since I said the opposite, but unfortunately you probably are dumb enough to believe it. Morons such as yourself are precisely why I made a point of harping on our other offensive flaws, because it's too easy for the terminally stupid to pretend that we would have been fine with Jake or some other solid QB.

Jake had 8 TDs and 1 pick when he went down. His QB rating was well over 100. The offense was moving the ball and scoring points. Since he has been gone it has stunk. I would have to look it up but I bet Carr and Vinny barely have 8 TDs between them. Steve Smith was putting up big number when Jake was healthy but has been inconsistent since then.

The offense is not perfect but if the QB play does not improve then nothing else will matter much.

Honestly, that pretty much sums it up for the Bobcats doesn't it? Even in an online forum with mostly Bobcat fans, we aren't talking Bobcats.

They won last night! Woo Hoo :28:
