Wallace, Richardson and Okafor are quality players who would be more than that on most teams. Richardson was much more than that in Golden State. Wallace is better than Richardson IMHO. The lack of an inside player outside of Okafor is what is killing them I guess.

I'm not saying they are bad. I'm pretty much agreeing with you for the most part. They are good players but the team lacks a great player or two.

yeah, Richardson would be a nice 2nd option.

I think it lacks depth more than anything. If we had some big bodies inside to rebound and foul and most importantly keep Okafor fresh then it would make a big difference. Right now we have Okafor and a bunch of guards out there.

they do need some bigger bodies, but I think Vincent needs to use the depth he has. he waits too long into the game before going to his bench.

ESPN has them as the least likely Eastern team to make the playoffs and is third to last in their team rankings. Ouch.

the bobcats have been really unlucky in the draft. they got okafor with the #2 pick. dwight howard went #1. there was some debate over who should have been #1. you can bet the magic chose the right guy.

the next year, they grabbed felton with the #5 pick -- chris paul went #4. again, they missed out on a superstar by one draft position.

the next draft was pretty sucky. adam morrison? why not i guess.

2007's draft turned into jason richardson, that's pretty good. the guy can play, tho he's got a hefty contract.

of course, the other problem for this year is that 2 of their main cogs are out for the season -- may and morrison. that isn't going to help them.

i don't get the sam vincent hire. hoping to hit a home run perhaps? or maybe nobody else was interested? i haven't followed the coaching angle at all.

I may have been wrong. The season is still young and they might turn it around.

You know about being wrong, David Carr ring a bell.
