A tourneyment would make the NCAA and the schools more money. More top flight games. That's not the issue. College presidents don't want it, the bowls don't want it.

LR, Keep in mind....I seeded the teams from the Final BCS Poll. The others were seeded by best records during the regular season minus a conference championship game, if applicable. Also, you dont give teams higher seeds just because they beat the higher seed - They remain their given seed. Georgia remains #5, not becomes #1; USC remains #7, not #2; etc...

Piper....Then what is the point of winning your conference championship if you cant do anything with it? While the Sun Belt Conference is a crappy conference, Florida Atlantic managed to go 7-1 and won. They deserve the chance to contend for the top prize, even though they'd get slaughtered in the first round. And so is true for BYU, Central Michigan, & Central Florida for winning their inferior conferences.

The Super Six might put in more money to get to these bowls, but they can be beat on any given day. This season proved that point very clearly.

yeah, i just forgot to change a couple of the seedings to the numbers that correlatated with that team. I didn't mean it to look like they earned the top seed by beating #1 or anything....sorry.

Any time you want to stop being a coward by just bitching at me and start acting like a man by making an argument that beats my own, be my guest. Until then I suggest that you stop your whining and shut your mouth.

The point of winning a championship is just that, winning a championship. That's why you play all those conference games.

I'd have loved for UT to have held on against LSU and won the SEC title. It would have been celebrated. Does that mean the Vols would have been real title condtenders? Of course not. But that's fine. Because SEC titles do mean something. Just like the Sun Belt Title means something to Florida Atlantic.

But since the Sun Belt Conference is in the Football Bowl Subdivision or Division I-A, their champion should have the right to play for a national championship just like LSU or any other Super Six conference champion.

    IMO, no.

I would argue that simply winning a conference title shouldn't mean that much.

If that's the case, the the champions of the other conferences shouldnt get in either....After all, conference titles dont mean much, so you say.

If you take the teams of the Super Six conferences, you have to take the lesser schools too - it's only fair. If you dont, then these teams either need a new division made for them or bumped down to FCS. What makes these bigger schools any different than the Florida Atlantic's, Central Florida's, and Central Michigan's?

Perhaps they should not be guaranteed a spot. If say a team from a weaker division with several losses beats a one loss team from the stronger division with several quality wins, then that weaker team should celebrate their conference championship. That doesn't make them a national title contender.

Stronger schedules, depth, quality wins, lack of big losses. FA lost, what, 4 games this year?

I just don't want to watch those teams.
